About Angel: I have a background in project management, operations, digital marketing, and front-end development. I currently specialize in product management and design strategy for enterprise, finance, healthcare, and biotech applications. I am also a frequent tech conference speaker (previous talks). Active in the Atlanta tech community, I am passionate about ensuring a safe and inclusive community for women and POC and helping newbies navigate their way through tech. I am currently Co-Director of Women Who Code Atlanta, Lead of Women Techmakers Atlanta, Co-Organizer of Google Developer Group Atlanta, and CWE Instructor at General Assembly. I am co-organizer of REFACTR.TECH and DevFest Atlanta. I was previously co-organizer of WE RISE Tech Conference 2018 and assistant organizer of ngAtlanta 2018.
Reason for being involved in workshop: I want to help people get their start in public speaking. Being a regular on the conference speaker circuit has helped my career immensely and the skills of being a great public speaker translate into many key areas of our careers.
