Reason for being involved in workshop: I've been in tech industry for more than 5 years and always advocate for women in tech and want to support all the minority in tech industry.
About Annie: I am Annie Huang who embraces design and code in my career path, and it leads me from product design, project management to software development. I trust the dots in my life will somehow connect me and lead me in the future.
Reason for being involved in workshop: I want to provide a conference in Taiwan with many speakers from various groups.
About Mia: I was born as the only child in my family and my grandma only adores boys, so you might get the picture of how it made my mom's life much difficult than others. When I found it's so unfair, I told myself I am no different than the boy. Fortunately, my dad is very supportive of me. He encourages me to be strong, be responsible and to be brave. Being the only child was quite hard to fit in for many circumstances, like school or any forms of groups, but I found my way to survive, that involves less talking, and more listening. I was obsessed with computers in fourth grade. Pressing words and hitting enter to bring up the result excites me. What can be cooler than this? That's how I got into developing.
Reason for being involved in workshop: I am going to be a speaker trainer.
About Cateyes: GDG Taipei co-organizer
Reason for being involved in workshop: Helping people
About Eva: I am a UXer with over 9 years of experience as a product designer and UX/UI design and 2.5 years as a backend engineer. By working with incompatible Web pages and APP, page flows and bad user experience, I have assisted many businesses to design the better user experience of products, platforms and UX issues. Besides being a UXer, I have multiple interests and play roles, like being an ambassador at Women Techmakers (WTM) Taipei, UX/UI speaker, and NGH certified hypnotist.
Reason for being involved in workshop: To embrace the diversity.
About Winnie: I am one of the organizers of Wikiwomen Taiwan. As a volunteer of Wikipedia, I enjoy the pleasure of editing. As a woman, I devote myself to gender equality. As a human being, I have been learning to embrace the diversity. It will be my first global diversity CFP day on January 4th 2020. I am happy to have the chance to learn from and share with everyone.
