Reason for being involved in workshop: Increase presentation of underrepresented groups. Encourage people to share their story with the world.
Reason for being involved in workshop: I'm keen to see more diverse voices speaking in the Brisbane tech community and love the idea of workshops to help.
Reason for being involved in workshop: I want to see a more diverse group of people at tech events, and want to help everyone with the opportunity to do so. Workshops are a great way to help.
About Paul: Paul is a Senior Software Engineer at Confrere, based in The Netherlands, and organiser of CSSClasses and QueerJS. He’s passionate about welcoming everyone into tech and making the web work for everyone. Nowadays, he gives talks about ethics, diversity, and inclusivity, to help make everyone feel as welcome as he was 10 years ago.
Reason for being involved in workshop: I'd like to help other people get started in speaking, because at least for me writing the proposal is the hardest part!
About Sanne: software developer (elixir, ruby, js) / creative coder / allround crafter / former teacher
